Milan

Following the success of MYLP in the U.S., the program was expanded to Europe in 2010 and was successfully organized in Milan, Italy under the topic of “Mongolia 2030.” Twenty distinguished Mongolian students from the top European universities in the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Turkey, Czech Republic, and Switzerland. The program was organized in cooperation of the Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Milan, and with support from the Mongolian Embassy in Austria and the Zorig Foundation. The program was hosted by the Italian-Mongolian Business Council, and the initiative has received support of the President of Mongolia Elbegdorj Tsakhia.

Italian-Mongolian Business Council, Altagamma foundation and other participating organizations gave talks and presentations on Italian economy and ways to strengthen the Mongolian-Italian relations. During the two-day program, students enjoyed numerous informative networking opportunities such as meeting with the local business, commerce and education sector representatives, and visiting local factories and firms.

MYLP 2010 in Milan, Italy was made possible with the generous sponsorship from Golomt Bank, Newcom, Royal Mongolian Expedition, and Khair Tokhoi Company.
