Participants will meet industry leaders, visit architecturally significant landmarks, work on case studies on the world’s top 10 sustainable city initiatives and at the end present their visions for UB 2030.

We are pleased to announce the 10th Mongolian Young Leaders Program which will take place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia under the topic of “Energy and Power – Road to a Sustainable Future”. Mongolian Young Leaders Program (MYLP) is a two-day conference that brings together Mongolia’s best minds and outstanding young leaders.

Mongolia is known for its abundant mineral resources, but it is also rich in renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power. Mongolia has the potential to not only ensure the stability of its domestic supply of energy, but to also provide energy resilience to Asia. In recent years, there has been growing interest in this sector from both domestic and foreign investors who have spotted this valuable opportunity. However, this opportunity comes with its challenges - ranging from lack of infrastructure to an unstable political and legal environment. In addition, there is a pressing need to ensure sustainability in the context of local pollution in Ulaanbaatar as well as global climate change. What Mongolia needs is a viable solution to address these immediate challenges in order to achieve sustainable economic growth in the long term.
